Pic Recap: Mayor Fenty Cuts Ribbon for Capitol Hill’s Sweetgreen

A private cocktail reception was held in honor of the opening of another Sweetgreen, a unique dining experience that embraces sustainable eats, on Capitol Hill last week. Mayor Adrian Fenty was there to cut the green ribbon, marking the opening of another restaurant. Sweetgreen was founded in 2007 by Georgetown college seniors Nicolas Jammet, Jonathan Neman and Nathaniel Ru. Foodies, expert mixologists and socialites gathered to celebrate the restaurant that is known for creative salads, tart frozen yogurt with seasonal, unique toppings, soups and whole-grain sides.

Isn’t it interesting that Fenty could make this engagement but backed out on his debate with Vincent Gray? Just saying…
