Georgetown Cupcake Founders to Get Reality TV Show
By DC Fab • January 31st, 2010
At an exclusive event for upcoming brides held at the Fahrenheit Restaurant in The Ritz Carlton in Georgetown, DC Fab! ran into Katherine Kallinis and Sophie LaMontagne (they’re adorable!), co-founders of Georgetown Cupcakes.
While the bakery is preparing for it’s two year anniversary on Feb. 14, the girls also revealed that they will start filming a reality show soon. The show will be an educational, how-to show that will probably showcase the special Georgetown community along with going behind-the-scenes in their bakery.
Along with several celebrity event planners, photographers, Grammy award-winning artists and make up artists, the girls served on a panel to help upcoming brides plan their own wedding. The event was hosted by fellow Terrapin Nerissa Montemurro, Founder of Private Receptions™.

Though I’m not a cupcake connoisseur, as a GU (and UMD) head you cannot deny the incredible demand Gtown Cupcakes gets on a fair weather day. So much love to them.
