DC Fab! at last week's cookout...I had a blast!

I’m such a sucker…I don’t know why y’all refuse to check out our Fab! Calendar that has a rundown of the best parties EVERY SINGLE NIGHT! You just can’t beat it…still, here are MORE parties to get your groove on.

Friday

• Lux Lounge (649 New York Ave. NW) is having a pre-Independence Day celebration. It’s free before 11 p.m. with this flyer.
• Layla Lounge (501 Morse St. NE) is also kicking off this holiday weekend with sounds by DJ KI.
• Indulj Lounge (1208 U Street NW) is getting in the celebratory mood with a champagne toast at midnight. Get here early because the party pops off on the second floor and it’s always crowded. Oh yea, don’t forget Tamika Jones will be performing on the first level until 1 a.m. RSVP to get in free before midnight ladies, guys until 11 p.m.

Saturday

• Steve Francis is hosting an Independece Day party at Layla Lounge (501 Morse St. NE) tonight. It’s free before 11 p.m. with this flyer.
• Station 9 (1438 U Street NW) has it’s own bill of rights this weekend, which I love:
  + Freedom to dine
  + Freedom to drink
  + Freedom to dance
  + Freedom to get in free on guestlist
  + Freedom to enjoy an open bar 9-10 p.m.
  + Freedom to be in the rapture of an irresistible good time. (Cute!)
• Mai Thai (1200 19th Street NW) is celebrating the Fourth of July with table specials: two bottles for $300. Ladies get in free before midnight. RSVP here to get on the list or to get a table.
• Dave & Ray are taking over Stir Lounge (707 G Street NW) this Saturday for their “Stars and Lights” Independence Day party. RSVP now.
• Ozio Martini & Cigar Lounge (1813 M Street NW) will also pop off tonight. Get in for half of the price until 12 a.m. when you text “HEDC” to “313131″. The best part about this is that they have a late night happy hour from 1-2 a.m. with $5 drink specials.

Sunday

• Head to the regular Sunday night spot Josephines (1008 Vermont Ave. NW) as the Washington Redskin’s Fred Smoot parties with host Big Tigger. Open bar from 10-11 p.m.
• I actually think the name of this party is straight blasphemous…it’s called “Worship Sundays” at Lima (1401 K Street NW) and Steve Francis is hosting this one as well. Free before 11 p.m. with flyer. Oh yea, they’ll have mojito drink specials on the patio until 11 p.m.
