Mini Recap: Opening Night of “The Color Purple” at the Kennedy Center

Last night was the opening night of the hit-musical “The Color Purple” at the Kennedy Center. Starring “American Idol’s” Fantasia Barrino, the show opened to a packed house and concluded with a long standing ovation.
Fantasia opened the show on her 25th birthday.

I was there and she did an amazing job! I also sat a few seats away from Caron Butler who was bagered by a few fans at intermission time…

I haven’t even saw the play but any sound coming from Fantasia is always good to me. She’s my favorite singer and has her own unique style. Keep the albums coming Tasia and Im gonna keep buying them. Much love from a HUGE fan!!!!!
