Chaka Khan kicked off a free summer concert series at Woodrow Wilson Plaza a couple of days ago. She performed favorites like “What Cha Gonna Do for Me,” “The Wire,” (made famous for our generation by Kanye West’s sample) “Sweet Thing,” (my absolute favorite) and “I’m Every Woman”.
Chaka looked great in purple with every purple accesory she could find! :)
