Click here to see Part 1! I’ll admit, the tens of thousands of cool people in the District can’t all fit in one party, so here are some other great parties you might want to be at to ring in the New Year:

• Love “is taking it back to the old school” and ringing in the New Year at Dream (same location – 1030 Okie Street NW; old name). Get tickets here!
• Our DMV homeboy, Raheem DeVaughn will be bringin the New Year at The Republic (1355 U Street NW) and he wants you to join him. Tickets start at $40 with open bar from 8-11 PM. Get tickets on Ticketmaster.com
• Pure (1326 U Street NW) is having a New Years celebration that lasts until 4 AM. $300 will get you a table in this small cozy spot. Still, the first 50 people get in free (doors open at 6 PM). With three DJs, I’m sure they’ll jam all night.
• Red Lounge (14th and U Streets NW) are offering a happy New Years for those on a budget. It’s $10 if you’re over 21, $20 if you’re 18-20 (ladies only) and $40 for open bar all night. DJ Cam Jus will be bumpin’ at this one. *UPDATE*: VENUE HAS CHANGED TO EXPO. DETAILS TO COME!
• DJ Alizay and Antonio ‘the Cuban Cigar Smoker’ will be hosting a New Year’s party at Layla Lounge (501 Morse Street NE). With an open bar from 9-10:30 PM plus a complimentary buffet. Tickets are only $35.
