Christmas? Check! Now it’s time to plan your New Years Eve 2008! This will actually be the first year where I’ll be in DC for the New Year so I’m excited to spend it with you. (Last year I was in Vegas. If you’re headed there, click here to find out where the hot spots are) Here are the top parties around the District:

• A good party is shaping up at the Hotel Palomar (1121 N. 19th Street, Arlington, VA) on the Georgetown Waterfront. Buy tickets now because I hear the $50 early bird tickets are already sold out. Tickets are now $65 until Dec. 28. It’s a great deal: open bar all night, valet parking and one of my favorite DJ’s, Harry Hotter. This may be where I’ll end up! *UPDATE*: A limited number of $40 tickets have been released.
• Another good bet is Station 9 (1438 U Street NW). For $60, you’ll have open bar, hors d’oeuvres and party favors! General admission is $30 but it’s worth it…you know you’re gonna’ spend $30 in drinks. Another favorite of mine, DJ Quicksilva and Angie Ang will be in the building *UPDATE*: I heard Dawn and Que (Are they supposed to be the DMVs new power couple?! Hmm…)  will be in the building too. • Never partied in the DC Aquarium (Commerce Building, Room B-077, 14th and Constitution Avenue, NW) well New Years Eve is a perfect night. Early bird tickets are $80 and includes open bar all night, catered buffet starting at 9 PM and a champagne toast at midnight. After Dec. 31, tickets will be $125. Get yours here!
